Description Lunaria annua var. albiflora Honesty. An upright annual or biennial which has ovate to heart-shaped, toothed, dark grey-green leaves. Sporadically from late spring to early summer, leafy racemes of white flowers are borne which are followed by flat, green seed pods. When ripe, the outer covers peel away to expose silvery, paper-like discs. Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Self seeds.
