Our locally sourced basalt makes a stunning addition to a water feature with its very dark grey turning almost black colours when wet. Basalt makes a great and cost-effective alternative to more expensive pebbles. It is often used as a decorative mulch in garden beds and large planters. Basalt can be used for drainage and soak wells. We suggest installing Geofabric underneath to stop the aggregate from mixing in with the existing sand, and to help control weeds.
